It is naive to think that Arabs will ever accept the existance of Israel. How then can the relenquishing of land for any purpose be a path to peace?

Jerusalem belongs to Israel and any attempt to disrespect that biblical doctrine will be met with disaster.

May G-d bless Israel.

Hello Dr. Ritmeyer,
I found your interesting site through "Bible Places". I heartily agree with what you have said here! I was so shocked when I read that information a few days ago. To tell you the truth, I have been on the watch for something to happen concerning the Temple Mount, since this year is the 40th year since it was taken back in the 6th day war... and 40 has always been a number symbolic of a testing or time of "probation" with regards to an enlarged dominion. (At least according to E.W. Bullinger, "Numbers in Scripture".) Moshe Dayan made the first blunder by allowing the Muslims back on the mount after it was taken in 67... I hope Olmert doesn't make an even larger mistake now in 07!
Just my opinion... :-)

In the efforts to gain peace and the end to the killing, why not. This endless hostility has gone on long enough. If you are worried about God, he is not on the mount, he is in your heart or is supposed to be.
