Description
This is a representation of one of the many fortresses that were built along the Way of Horus. This road appears in graphic form on the northern wall of the hypostyle hall at Karnak. It shows that strong fortifications were built along this road, a fact that has been verified by archaeological excavations. Several of these fortresses are shown with adjacent reservoirs.
