Description
This view shows the doors leading from the Holy Place into the Holy of Holies (Most Holy Place). They were made of olive wood and decorated with cherubim, palm trees and open flowers. The cherubim and palm trees were overlaid with beaten gold (1 Kings 6.31,32). The doors were later replaced by a veil (2Chr. 3:14).
