monolithic tomb carved out of the rock. The single burial chamber has a gabled roof. On the outside, its walls are decorated with an Egyptian style cornice and it had a pyramidal roof, that has been quarried away in later periods.
The tomb appears to date from the 7-8th century BC, but since the 19th century, has been identified with the Tomb of Pharaoh’s daughter, who the wife of King Solomon.
