Crossway Publishers contacted us to serve as Archaeological and Architectural Reconstruction Editor for the ESV Study Bible, 2008.
We were asked to design new reconstruction drawings of the Ziggurat of Ur, the Tabernacle with its furniture and court, Solomon’s Temple and Palace Complex, the Second Temple built by Zerubbabel, Herod’s Temple, Jerusalem in the time of David, Solomon, Hezekiah, Nehemiah and Christ and many city plans for the ESV Study Bible (2008).
These drawings were then beautifully painted by Maltings Partnership, Derby, UK, under our supervision.
Kathleen wrote some of the descriptions and captions to these drawings and also edited other texts.
All of these drawings were subsequently used in the ESV Bible Atlas (2010).
