Description
This drawing shows in yellow the large Herodian paving stone below the small dome of the Spirits that stands on the Muslim platform of the Temple Mount. This paving stone was part of the paving of the Temple Courts of the Herodian Temple Mount. It has been erroneously claimed to have been the location of the Holy of Holies by Prof. A. Kaufman.
