Description
This monumental building is a fountain built in 114 AD in honor of the Emperor Trajan. The middle section was raised to accommodate a double life-sized statue of the Emperor. The pool in front was filled by pipes that came from beneath the plinth of the building. This is another example of the opulence displayed on Curetes Street.
