Altar of Incense

$6.00

Description

Here we see a reconstruction drawing of the Altar of Incense that stood in front of the Veil that separated the Holy of Holies from the Holy Place. The altar was made of shittim wood and overlaid with gold. The altar had rings on its sides, so that staves, or poles, could be put through them to enable the altar to be carried.

It was first placed in the Tabernacle and was later used in the subsequent Temples in Jerusalem.
